“Roast’n Roll Forever”, Tom Heinzle

At 24.5.2017 Tom Heinzle presented his new book “Roast’n Roll Forever” to the gourmet press at 25Hours Hotel in the inner city of Vienna. The presentation was accompanied by a 4 course menu, of course everything prepared at the grill. But as surprise for all of his guests he served only dishes that are not associated with grilling at all.

Tom Heinzle is Vorarlberger, born in 1967, who stayed constantly faithful to his home. Since many years his passion is grilling. In the year 2009 he converted his hobby into his profession and founded his company “Toms Grillwerkstatt”. Already in the year 2010 he won first big awards. Meanwhile he is, together with his team, multiple vice world champion and austrian national champion.

Tom Heinzle gives grill trainings, where he equips interested ones with knowledge about BBQ, and is also a very demanded guest griller at festivals, gourmet fairs and especially in fine dine restaurants. As book author he has already spent time in different part areas of grilling. He walks completely new paths, combines traditional with innovative dishes and also gathers ideas from kitchen in countries far away. Special importance for him is usage of high-value, saisonal food coming out of the region and meat coming from species-appropriate keeping of animals.

From Tom Heinzle we can learn a lot, especially as entrepreneur. Who is into his business, constantly further develops, offers outstanding products and services and also deals with his surrounding fair (region, customers, suppliers etc.), belongs quickly to the eilte of the industry. Your age at which you are founding does not matter but to recognise the correct moment in time, when you yourself and the market is mature in order to turn up!
